DRAG WORKSHOP

Three queerdomes joined forces and prepared a drag workshop. The program is intended for everyone who is interested in drag and queer art (e.g. future performance, MUA, theater authorship, etc.), as well as those who simply want to try drag and enjoy the joint creative process.

The workshop is divided into two parts: 

  1. DRAG PERSONA / CREATING A CHARACTER

The workshop focuses on creating a drag persona, exploring its variations and character possibilities, and their use both on stage and on social media. It will be led by Martin "Venice" Talaga, founder of PINKBUS Platform. 

 2. MAKE-UP & LIP SYNC

Participants will undergo a complete transformation - from covering eyebrows to contouring to the final "stage-ready" look. A lip sync class will follow. This part will be led by Scott "TONIC" Tait, mother of the House of Garbáge and founder of the legendary drag show Queeriety. 

At the end, participants will have the opportunity to present their work as part of the evening performance PINKBUS slovenský a žiadny iný in the Small Hall of ARCHA+, where they will be able to experience performing on stage and put their newly acquired skills into practice.

 

12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Part 1 – Drag Persona/Character (Zlatnická 8)
2:00 PM – 6:30 PM – Part 2 – MAKEUP & LIP SYNC (KAFE+)
8:30 PM / 9:00 PM – Presentation as part of the event “A Slovak Evening and No Other” (Small Hall, ARCHA+)
