Autumn news from Culture For Future

Autumn is here. We have lots of inspiring experiences ahead of us – the announcement of the results of the open call, ecological meetings, and artistic performances. We have prepared an overview of the most interesting events that you cannot miss.

Open call results

Our first theater open call was won by Gabriela Gabašová with her play Poslední léto (The Last Summer). The play tells a story inspired by a real Swiss group of senior citizens (Klimaseniorinnen) who sued the state for failing to protect its citizens from climate change. Gabriela will now finish writing the play under the guidance of Anna Tabášková and David Košťák. Jakub Štrba came in second with his play Hanna, while third place was shared by Adéla Holemá with her play V+D and Tereza Pavlíková with Uvidíš-li mě, zaplač (If You See Me, Cry). Four other authors received special awards.

The full results, including evaluations and synopses of the individual themes, can be found on our website.
